September 16, 2003:
We arrive into Cairo Airport. Once again,
I am with my friends Ken, Kenda and Leigh Ann.
We booked through
Travel Concepts International,
sponsored by the
League of Women Voters.
Of the 18 people in our group
only one had any connection to the league. 0128

As we drove into town,
we passed by several mosques.

The tall tower is called a minaret, where
a "muezzin" calls out for prayer.
Muslims pray five times a day! 0130
